His photography career took off in Tokyo, where he lived from 2001-2003 before spending four years in Malaysia. It is In Asia where Tom developed a passion for technology. He has worked with a broad range of media, including print, web, mobile and TV, and was the main organiser for Twestival Barcelona.

Tom about The Festival

“I think most Europeans have an intuition of what it means to be European, but would struggle to articulate it. Each European country is different but we do share a sense of unity and collaboration. Maybe you can’t express it in a few words, but I see European identity as a marvellous mosaic of history, culture, creativity and progress. I’m supporting the festival because it gives a voice to European identity and it’s a great opportunity for us to all get together and celebrate as Europeans in Berlin- one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan and vibrant cities.”
