The City of Europe - A Virtual Tour

Welcome to the City of Europe!

Berlin’s most prestigious mile between Victory Column and Brandenburg Gates is located right in the center of the city’s green lung, Tiergarten.

Many big events are celebrated here. The famous avenue turned into the great Fan Mile during the World Cup 2006, for more than a decade the annual Love Parade attracted houndres of thousands of participants, and of course it was the place to be when the wall came down in 1989.

In July 2012 the Street of June 17th will turn into the City of Europe. 2,2 km long, 30 m wide. Space for approximately 500.000 Europeans at the same time.

The visualization above is a ride into the future.

After crossing the whole site rapidly, you start your journey at the Euro Stage and slowly move  on to the main attractions; the Arena, the Cinema, the Gallery, the Stage and the Catwalk. The space In between is filled with the Restaurants, Home Zones and Perspective Pavilions.

The trip takes about 7 minutes.
